Complete work exhibiting ability to raise a ladder, throw a rope, and safe techniques to climb into a tree. Set up safely with proper placement of lowering lines in a strong enough crotch, know when to attach a tag line, and engage proper lowering techniques. Know when to double crotch and use other appropriate techniques when working in trees. Able to drop trees, know when to use ropes for take down and identify potential need to use spikes. Perform aerial rescue if needed. Monitors key performance indicators, including production schedules, profit, net promoter score, and revenue per hour, promoting sustainability and profitability. Visit branch locations to review safety programs and ensure team members in each service line operate safely, efficiently, and productively, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). Perform periodic accident/incident review to identify trends and determine appropriate course of action, including root cause analysis and shared learning opportunities. Training Establish and help maintain all Lean initiatives and standard work established for Continuous Improvement. The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing the many problems that trees and shrubs may face. They are our team of “detectives”; looking at each plant disease/infestation as a puzzle they can’t wait to solve. This role provides the opportunity to work outside and visit beautiful properties in your community. What a day is like: The Plant Health Care focus is on ensuring the health and well being of trees and shrubs on a clients’ landscape in a specific territory. This involves monitoring, diagnosing, and treating any pest and/or disease infestations occurring on the property. Plant Health Care is responsible for selecting the most appropriate product or treatment for each problem. Additional activities include interacting with our clients, educating them with written diagnostic reports detailing the conditions on their landscape, as well as ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will also participate in community and industry events such as presentations to horticultural associations, garden clubs, trade shows, and community organizations, interacting with stakeholders to preserve, care for and protect the properties that we serve together. Our natural, environmentally friendly deer repellent keeps plants protected while also keeping people, pets and pollinators safe. Since 2007, thousands of customers have relied on us to keep their landscapes safe from deer damage, and our results speak for themselves.    What You’ll Be Doing: Our Field Technicians are the heart and soul of our business. You will be working outdoors applying our deer repellent to client’s landscapes that need it throughout New York.    Additional duties of the job include: -Driving a company vehicle from jobsite to jobsite -Maintaining and cleaning the spray equipment to the company standard -Engaging with and answering questions from clients at the application site in a professional and courteous manner  -Licenses/Certifications-Clean Driver’s License required This position pays up to $22/HR plus benefits, PTO, and 401K.
