Purpose of the Role
SavATree is building a specialized Inside Sales organization designed to drive incremental revenue, improve proposal conversion, and increase client visits across all markets. Our Inside Sales team acts as a partner and extension of local SavATree branches, working together to deliver a “Wow” customer experience while driving measurable sales growth.
The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for structured follow-up on pitched but unsold work, proactive outbound appointment scheduling, customer reactivation efforts, and targeted outbound sales campaigns. This is a revenue-carrying role with individual sales goals tied directly to performance-based incentives.
This role requires a consultative sales approach — balancing persistence with professionalism — and ensuring every customer interaction reflects SavATree’s premium, relationship-driven brand.
Essential Functions of the Role:
Proposal Follow-Up & Revenue Conversion
- Conduct structured follow-up on pitched but unsold proposals across assigned markets.
- Execute multi-touch outreach sequences (phone, text, email) to convert opportunities into closed sales.
- Confidently overcome objections and reinforce the value of SavATree’s services.
- Maintain strong opportunity pipeline management within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Accurately document all outreach attempts, conversations, and outcomes.
- Achieve or exceed individual revenue targets and conversion rate goals.
Outbound Appointment Generation & Calendar Optimization
- Proactively schedule high-quality, in-person visits for Sales Arborists during periods of lower inbound demand.
- Utilize CRM data and routing tools to schedule geographically efficient appointments that optimize field productivity.
- Ensure scheduled visits align with seasonal service cycles and provide value to customers.
- Apply call control, objection handling, and active listening to diagnose customer needs and properly match to SavATree’s services.
Reactivation & Campaign Sales
- Execute targeted win-back outreach to previously canceled customers.
- Support seasonal outbound campaigns such as winter prepayment programs for plant health care and lawn care services.
- Drive measurable revenue through structured outbound initiatives.
Brand Experience & Customer Engagement
- Deliver outbound communication that reflects SavATree’s premium, consultative, and relationship-driven brand.
- Balance persistence with professionalism — recognizing client communication preferences without over-contacting or eroding trust.
- Approach each interaction with energy, confidence, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction while driving sales outcomes.
Performance & Accountability
- Meet or exceed individual performance metrics including:
- Individual dollars sold
- Pitched → Sold conversion rate
- Appointment volume generated
- Campaign revenue contribution
- Activity productivity metrics (contacts, follow-ups, touches per opportunity)
- Maintain high CRM documentation accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Participate in coaching sessions, call reviews, and structured role-play exercises.
- Utilize feedback, AI-driven insights, and performance dashboards to continuously improve results.

Qualifications for this Role
Required
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role within arboriculture OR minimum 2+ years of consumer inside sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in a revenue-generating or quota-based environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort managing pipelines and documenting activity within CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus but not required).
- Ability to confidently handle objections and drive commitment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong competitive drive and relentless execution in achieving goals.
Preferred
- Experience in home services or relationship-driven consumer services.
- Experience utilizing CRM and AI-based sales tools to improve productivity and outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in performing at a high level in a hybrid or remote-only working environment a plus but not required
