The Real Green Product Owner is a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the overall success and continuous improvement of the Real Green software platform across the Thrive Brands division of SavATree. This role acts as the primary IT liaison and support lead for Real Green, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive efficiency, scalability, and exceptional service delivery through the platform.

Position Overview:
The Real Green Product Owner is a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the overall success and continuous improvement of the Real Green software platform across the Thrive Brands division of SavATree. This role acts as the primary IT liaison and support lead for Real Green, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive efficiency, scalability, and exceptional service delivery through the platform.

What a day is like:
You’ll serve as the go-to expert for Real Green, working collaboratively across departments to enhance user experience, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure that the platform supports business goals across multiple branches. You’ll own the software from an IT and help desk perspective, driving improvements and maintaining strong relationships with WorkWave’s Real Green team. Your work will involve both strategic planning and hands-on problem solving to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Real Green system owner, overseeing integration, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Act as help desk lead for Real Green, managing support tickets, training users, and resolving technical issues.
  • Partner with WorkWave/Real Green to escalate issues, request enhancements, and ensure optimal platform performance.
  • Continuously evaluate system usage and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and user adoption.
  • Lead internal initiatives related to Real Green system updates, feature rollouts, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with branch leaders and corporate stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into platform solutions.
  • Manage platform support and configuration across multiple branches and business units.

  • Strong understanding of field service operations, preferably in lawn care, landscaping, or related green industries.
  • Ability to translate user needs into software improvements or workflows.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • A customer service mindset and a continuous improvement mentality.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Business, Operations, or a related field.

What is essential:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Availability for occasional travel (10–20%) to branches and vendor sites across the continental U.S.
