Job Summary

Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

In this role, you’ll perform tree pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing while operating equipment safely, including chainsaws and aerial lifts. We are looking for individuals with 6 months to 1 year of tree climbing experience who can climb without spurs and have knowledge of tree species.

About the Role

As part of our General Tree Care Team, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and preserving the health of trees and landscapes. This physically engaging job allows you to work outdoors, collaborate with skilled professionals, and visit beautiful properties in your community.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of a high-performing tree care crew to deliver expert pruning, removals, cabling, and bracing services.
• Safely operate chainsaws, aerial lifts (bucket trucks), and other tree care equipment.
• Apply proper pruning techniques to shade trees, ornamentals, and shrubs.
• Ensure adherence to tree care safety standards at all times.
• Climb trees without spurs, demonstrating proper techniques for efficient and safe work.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and property care.

What We’re Looking For

We need individuals who are passionate about tree care and take pride in their work.

Must-Haves:

• Experience in pruning large shade trees and ornamentals using best practices.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree/shrub species and understand their characteristics.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw operation and tree care equipment.
• Experience with tree climbing and aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• A valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• A strong desire to work outdoors in all seasons.

Physical Demands

This is a physically active role requiring the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently. Team members should be comfortable with climbing, bending, and performing manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
