As an Inside Sales Representative at SavATree, you will be a driving force behind the company’s growth by connecting with prospective and existing residential customers. Your role will involve providing expert advice and tailored solutions for their tree, shrub, and lawn care needs. This position is ideal for sales professionals who excel in customer engagement, pipeline management, and achieving sales targets through a structured, consultative approach.

Customer and Prospect Engagement:

  • Conduct high-volume inbound and outbound calls, emails, SMS, and other digital communication channels to connect with potential customers (warm leads only).
  • Perform detailed needs assessments to identify customer goals and challenges, presenting SavATree’s services as customized solutions.
  • Actively follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns, referrals, and other sources to drive conversions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by responding promptly to inquiries and building rapport with every interaction.
  • Win back clients who previously canceled recurring services.

Sales Process Execution:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, while maintaining a high close rate through diligent follow-ups and effective communication.
  • Adhere to proven sales scripts and techniques while personalizing interactions to fit customer needs.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track interactions, manage opportunities, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and provide leadership with regular pipeline, performance, and improvement reports.

Product Expertise and Market Knowledge:

  • Become an expert in SavATree’s full range of services, including tree care, plant care, and lawn care solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Share insights and feedback from customers to support service and process improvements.

Consultative Selling:

  • Proactively recommend approved, seasonally and geographically relevant services (e.g., Organic Tick Control in the Northeast).
  • Address objections confidently, providing data-driven responses to build trust and credibility.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by educating customers on the value and benefits of SavATree’s offerings.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Partner with field-based sales arborists and other departments to ensure smooth service delivery and alignment on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaigns and leverage insights for lead generation and conversion.
  • Participate in team sales meetings, role-playing exercises, and ongoing training to continually improve skills.

Territory Management and Goal Setting:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned territories, focusing on growth and retention.
  • Actively manage and prioritize a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Adjust strategies based on performance metrics, customer feedback, and market conditions.

You are customer-centric, sales-driven, and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment with a passion for continuous improvement. Your strong organizational skills, ability to leverage CRM platforms, and team-oriented mindset ensure customer satisfaction and operational success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Inside Sales or Call Center environments, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Background or education in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Urban Forestry, or a related field is a plus (not required).
