The Estimator’s primary role is to support the Sales team with all estimating, Quote and work order generation, equipment requirements, property inventories, arborist reports, job quality, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be exceedingly well organized, experienced in the Tree Care Industry, flexible, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
What a day is like:
The Estimator’s primary role is to support the Sales Arborist with all estimating, quote and work order generation, equipment requirements, property inventories, arborist reports, job quality, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be exceedingly well organized, experienced in the Tree Care Industry, flexible, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible in providing quotes/estimates for services provided by the company
- Responsible for generating accurate work orders
- Posses the ability to show and describe the job to the assigned foreman before the work begins.
- Responsible in the quality of work being performed on his/her job site
- Responsible in assuring the customer’s satisfaction
What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:
- Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care.
- Experience in the Tree Care Industry
- Solid communication skills in order to complete paperwork and communicate with clients
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Comprehensive knowledge in arboricultural understanding
- Comprehensive knowledge of GIS and tree inventory software
Estimator Qualifications:
- ISA Certified Arborist (not required upon employment)
- Certified in CPR/First Aid (Valid)
- California driver’s license with clean DMV record (Valid)
- Certified Tree Safety Professional (Recommended)
- Qualified Applicators License (Recommended)
- Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (Recommended)

As a Sales Arborist your focus will be to develop, grow and support your assigned sales territory.
